Our Step-by-Step Adoption Process

Step 1: Submit an Adoption Inquiry

Tell us about your home environment, prior experience, and the type of animal you’re interested in.

Step 2: Meet the Animal & Consultation

After reviewing your inquiry, our adoption coordinator will contact you, You’ll get to learn more about your potential companion’s personality, dietary needs, and daily care routine.

Step 3: Home & Care Review

We perform a simple home review (either virtual or in-person) to ensure the animal will have a safe, species-appropriate environment.
Our goal is to educate and support — not to judge. We’ll provide personalized recommendations for habitat setup and enrichment.

Step 4: Adoption Approval & Agreement

Once approved, you’ll receive an Adoption Agreement outlining responsibilities, care standards, and post-adoption support.
Adoption fees vary by species and go directly toward the animal’s ongoing veterinary care, food, and conservation programs.

Step 5: Ongoing Support & Check-ins

Our relationship doesn’t end at adoption. We offer ongoing guidance, check-ins, and optional enrichment consultations to ensure every animal continues to thrive.

Which Animals Are Eligible for Adoption?

While some of our animals are permanent residents, others may be available for adoption based on their species, temperament, and care needs.
Eligible animals may include:

  • Small primates – Marmosets, Tamarins, Squirrel Monkeys

  • Birds – African Greys, Cockatoos, Macaws, Toucans

  • Small mammals – Kinkajous, Fennec Foxes (case-by-case basis)

Each adoption is carefully reviewed to ensure the adopter’s ability to meet habitat, diet, and enrichment requirements.
